Women’s Health Project
The Women’s Health Service is a sexual health and outreach support service for cis and trans
women working in the sex industry. The WHS also provides support to both female/male victims of
trafficking. While the service is Dublin based, sex workers who travel and work all around
Ireland can access our service.

- The project provides a free sexual health drop-in clinic with no appointment necessary.
It includes full sexual health testing, treatment and contraception. - Outreach to streets and indoor apartments providing information, advice on safer sex,
personal safety and condom use/distribution. - The team can provide support to women who are considering exiting prostitution and
exploring options available to them. - The project has links with many other support organisations and can make referrals.
- If you are a victim of crime and want to make a report to the Gardaí we can help.
- Translation services are available by phone or in person in several different languages.
Merchant’s Quay
Merchant’s Quay provides services for people who use drugs and for people experiencing homelessness.
- Drop-in service including meals, healthcare and support for people are homeless

- Drugs service needle exchange, crisis support, therapy and outreach

Chrysalis
Chrysalis is a Community Drug Project and registered charity based in Dublin 7. Chrysalis provides a FREE harm reduction service to men and women in Dublin 7. As part of this service Chrysalis Sex Work Project provides a range of additional services to people engaged in sex work. It is open to all people who are or have engaged in sex work regardless of gender identity, background or catchment area. It provides a wide range of services, street outreach to female sex workers, netreach, safety advice and information, provision of harm reduction materials, case management and advocacy work, crisis intervention, referrals to specialised services, inreach support to prisons, hospitals etc, training to professionals and community groups.
This includes:
- One to one support, key working, crisis intervention, counselling and case management
- Safety workshops and advice
- Referrals to housing, health and social services
- Ugly Mugs reports – crime reporting scheme for sex workers(Support in reporting of crimes)
- Street Outreach/Prison Outreach/Hospital Outreach
