As sex workers ourselves we understand that this is a difficult time, we are in the same situation. We want to help as many workers as we can while ensuring that the money goes to those who need it most.

We have now opened the SWAI Hardship fund for applications. Here is the Google form.

SWAI will have access to the data you give us and when this is all over we will delete it.

This fund is available to in-person sex workers in Ireland whose work has been affected by the current pandemic.

Please only apply for the fund if

• In-person sex work was your main income stream
• You do not have any savings

We foresee a ONE-TIME PAYMENT of €100 per worker being available which we are aware is not going to entirely remedy anyone’s situation but will hopefully cushion it. We wish it could be more.  We will make this available to as many workers as possible but once the fund is exhausted we will have a waiting list.

The quickest for us to get money to you is through your bank account or PayPal account. If this is not an option available to you please let us know, but be advised that there will be a delay in getting funds to you.

• A link to your online advertising profile
• A short, confidential phone call
